Brazilian-born and UK-based for over two decades, Renata Fernandes brings a distinctive curatorial vision shaped by her experience across art, design, and motorsport culture.
As Art Director at Escapade Silverstone and the Silverstone Circuit, Renata has spent more than 20 years working with private collectors, luxury venues, and global brands —developing, sourcing, and positioning art within high-end environments. Her journey into motorsport began early, at just 17, during her first experience in Formula 1 at Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo. Since then, her path has evolved into a unique intersection between contemporary art and automotive culture. In 2021, she founded Sleeping with Art, a pioneering annual event connecting artists and automotive brands—redefining how art is experienced within this space.
For Renata, curation goes beyond aesthetics. It is about shifting perception — creating dialogue between object, space, and audience.
