MainGUILTY Draws Attention at INDEX Saudi Arabia 2024 with Live Sculpture

INDEX Saudi Arabia 2024 took place from September 17 to 19 in Riyadh, one of the largest international events, bringing together companies from around the world to explore the latest trends and innovations in design. MainGUILTY participated in the exhibition in collaboration with AIMMP (Portuguese Association of Wood and Furniture Industries), where the association represented around 24 Portuguese companies that showcased Portuguese design and furniture to an international audience.

In this edition, MainGUILTY made a strong impression by collaborating with partners on major Saudi projects such as NEOM, Qiddiya, and The Mukaab.

One of the main highlights at MainGUILTY's stand was the live sculpture demonstration, a novelty introduced for the first time by the brand with sculptor JCarlos. Over the three days of the exhibition, the MainGUILTY stand attracted many curious visitors, drawn to the brand's family roots and sculpture work. In fact, the brand had the opportunity to conduct workshops with the local population, who ventured into the world of sculpture. This participation symbolized cultural openness and the appreciation of the female role in a transforming society, creating a dialogue between the brand's Portuguese heritage and Saudi culture.

During the fair, MainGUILTY's creative director, Carlos Mello, took part in the Design Talk "Design in the Real World." Another Portuguese representative, Artur Soares from Design Mint, also participated in the talk, which covered key topics such as the impact of technology and artificial intelligence in the design industry, as well as the challenges young people face in the job market.

MainGUILTY also launched its latest creation, the "Anthea Ceramic," which quickly became a focal point at the stand. This special edition of the brand's bestseller combines functionality with aesthetics, serving as an air freshener that creates a unique sensory experience, blending art and fragrance.

The brand’s presence at INDEX received growing media attention, notably being featured on RTP1’s Jornal da Tarde, with coverage by journalist Raquel Tavares and cameraman João Oliveira.

MainGUILTY left the 2024 edition with great success and is already focused on the next edition of INDEX Dubai, which will take place from May 27 to 29, 2025. The brand aims to replicate and expand on the positive experiences from this year's exhibition, once again bringing its creativity and innovation to the Middle Eastern market.
